Mark O. Chilton - President
Mark
Chilton received a B.S. in Civil Engineering from the
University of Louisville in 1967 and has been in the earthwork
business for more than 50 years. He has worked on all
of the major projects undertaken by RAM since its inception.
Mark oversees/manages projects, negotiates contracts/change
orders, deals with banking/bonding institutions, and specializes
in projects requiring both blasting and retention systems.
Richard
C. Chilton – Vice President
Richard
Chilton received a B.S. in Civil Engineering from the
University of Louisville in 1966, an M.B.A from the
University of Kentucky in 1968, and a Master of Engineering
from the University of Louisville in 1976. Richard is
also a registered Professional Engineer (P.E.). Like
his brother Mark, Richard has more than 50 years of
experience in the earthwork business. He oversees daily
office/repair shop functions, orchestrates bid proposals,
negotiates contracts/change orders, manages construction
projects for certain clients, deals with banking/bonding
institutions, and specializes in design of RAM's Retention
Systems.

Chilton III – Vice President
W.W.
Chilton III, known as Tinker to most, has been performing
earthwork since he learned to walk. He oversees/manages
projects for the University of Louisville and the University
of Kentucky, amongst others. Tinker also orchestrates
bid proposals, negotiates contracts/change orders, and
specializes in retention systems, especially where hi-capacity
tie-back anchors are required.
Doug
Ogburn – Senior Estimator
Doug
Ogburn has been with RAM Engineering & Construction
for more than 30 years. Doug has worn many hats during
his RAM tenure including project manager, estimator,
architect, IT support, and others. Currently, Doug serves
as our Senior Estimator and performs all take-off on
major projects. In addition to Doug’s duties as
Senior Estimator, he also performs various levels of
project management, designs and prepares shop drawings,
prepares bid documentation, and many other things. Doug
received a Bachelor of Architecture from the University
of Notre Dame in 1978.
